THINKING OF BECOMING AN EDUCATOR?

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Maintain Ratios - 4 children under school age & 3 school age children at any one time, total 7 in care.

  • You can have your own children in care as long as it doesn’t exceed your ratios

  • We support, assist & provide all documents required & ongoing training

  • You will need an ABN as you will be a sole trader. You are responsible for your tax & super contributions. We recommend using a qualified accountant. Register for an ABN here.

I have been an educator with Boonah, Warwick & District Family Day Care since 2017. I have enjoyed my time as an educator and it has been a great way to work while staying at home with my own children also. Being an educator is such a wholesome fulfilling job to be able to help nurture little lives during the few important years of their learning and development. The team at Boonah, Warwick and District FDC have been very supportive to me during my time operating with the scheme.
